Situations that you weren't expecting arrive to change your life completely, pushing you to start from scratch.
We are taught to think of change as a bad thing.
The only constant in our lives is that everything changes, like nature reflects on us: leaves fall, butterflies, and frogs metamorphose, flowers bloom, seeds grow… and we are constantly changing, constantly evolving. Even if we are unaware of the changes, they happen internally all the time.
It is the law, part of nature and our experience here.
Our ego does not like these changes, and many times, it goes above and beyond to make you remain in the same “place,” following the same patterns and reacting the same way to things. This is because our ego likes to be in control, and it has no control if it doesn't know what will happen.
The ego and the rational mind create a story about who you are
The events and situations you experienced while growing up or that you face regularly help you identify yourself, encouraging separation, which is one of the illusions we are in this body to experience. (but we will talk more in-depth about this in another post)
What do you identify with?
Most of our experience is guided by our emotions. Quantum Physics has proved that everything in this world is made of energy, from things that can be seen to those we can't. Energy waves are encoders and carriers of information. Because of how our bodies are designed, we can feel and create different frequencies. As we grow up, we learn to give meaning to these different feelings, and with the identification process, we sometimes relate too closely to these emotions, thinking that they define us in some way.
Our bodies are the guides for our physical experience, helping us interpret and live fully.
The body helps decode the information the different frequencies bring into our lives. If we let go of the rigid identifiers, we learn more about our experiences, the challenges we must face, and the specific lessons we need to learn from them. Trauma healing, in a very sacred way.
Emotions are your greatest teachers.
Happiness will reveal part of your true self as it elevates your frequency, aligning you with the truth of the Universe. (going higher than 200 Hz, as David R. Hawkins explains it in his book titled Power vs. Force)
Sadness, although a lower frequency, will help you explore yourself deeper to see what situations make you sad. It usually points to the things you identify with that are not aligned with your true Self, situations that you need to accept and heal. (grief 75 Hz)
Anger will show you where to set limits and how much you need to hold and respect them. (150 Hz)
What are your emotions teaching you?
(I would love to know, truly! Leave a comment)
When you are in a Traumatic situation, how you learn to identify yourself changes, leading you to create a story about how this situation defines you.
"Trauma is not what happens to you, it's what happens inside you as a result of what happened to you." - Gabor Mate
The new story you create after the event might not align with your true Self. Because of that, it will cause confusion, anger, disassociation, discomfort, and many other painful feelings for you and those around you.
One of the hardest things to do after a Traumatic situation is to be in your body because sometimes the emotions are so powerful that we unconsciously avoid feeling them at any cause.

How do you use this information for Trauma healing?
Learn to be in your body, and slowly start creating a safe space for you inside your body:
Rule 1:
No judgment.
Learn to let the emotions come and allow them to exist, no matter what they are.
Step 1:
Feel
Emotions can be overwhelming, but as an experiment, feel them and go deep within yourself.
Step 2:
Discover the story
Let memories related to emotions come into your awareness and explore them. Ask yourself, what is this story telling me about myself? (remember the first rule)
Step 3:
Be compassionate with yourself.
All the stories you created about yourself have helped you survive and reach where you are right now, so be kind to yourself, accept your journey, and honour it.
Everything you are experiencing is for your highest good.
Once you understand that, you learn to automatically approach challenges with the awareness that they are here to teach you something very important and incredibly valuable.
Being alive, even though chaotic and difficult, is a gift. Explore your life and explore yourself every day.
